Making time to get away with the family isn’t always easy, but making memories is always worth it. Weedingshall is a family run business, and with little ones ourselves we know what sort of things you’ll need to make it all go as smoothly and happily as possible.

Our pods are self contained, with everything you and your family might need, and you won’t have to worry about the children upsetting people through the wall. The kitchens have all amenities you need – cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer etc. We have plenty of room for different family members to relax without feeling on top of each other, from our comfy sofa areas (with smart tv – always a hit on rainy days), wee kitchen table and large decking area with plenty of seating and a small fire pit (perfect for roasting marshmallows). There are plenty of amenities on site, including a playpark, a barbeque hut (although additional charges apply), picnic area, and a laundry (additional charges too) with both washing and drying facilities. We have plenty of nature walks around and about us, including the lovely Gray Buchannan Park.

The local area has lots for families, and it’s no wonder that Falkirk is fast becoming a family favourite tourist destination. Helix Park and the Kelpies are always a hit (if you have bikes they’re even in cycling distance, or a long walk), and the Falkirk Wheel is popular across all generations of families. Callendar House and Linlithgow Palace are nearby, and you’ll find a huge range of activities you can do in the area, including segway experiences, cycle routes, watersports – even alpaca trekking.
