Guaranteed Reservations and Deposits

All reservations must be guaranteed to a major credit card or debit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Switch/Maestro) at the time of reservation. Please be aware that, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, we may need to move you to a different room. However, we will never downgrade your booking. If your reservation cannot be honoured, we will arrange your accommodation in another serviced apartment/hotel at our expense, and provide transportation to and from Weedingshall as reasonable. Please note, Weedingshall does not accept stag/hen parties or bookings of a similar nature. Failure to disclose this information will result in a direct cancellation of your booking. Weedingshall has a two night minimum stay policy during various peak periods including August. We also operate a two night minimum stay over New Year. No bookings will be honoured for these periods for less than the minimum stay allowance. We reserve the right to refuse any booking.

You may cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. You will be charged the total price if you cancel in the 7 days before arrival. Weedingshall charges 100% of the booking on all Advanced Purchase bookings at the time of reservation and is entirely non-refundable.

Failing to call or show before check-in time closes on the first night of a reservation will result in the cancellation of the remainder of your reservation.

Where a booking is cancelled and third party activities/services have been purchased (on behalf of the client), the cancellation policy of the third party company will apply. Any relevant charges or leniency is at the discretion of the third party company.

All displayed rates and benefits are intended for two persons for double room bookings. Any additional (adult) occupancy will incur additional charges at management discretion

In accordance with Scottish Law it is prohibited to smoke or permit smoking indoors at Weedingshall, either in the pods or in the external buildings (laundry etc)

Anyone found smoking in Weedingshall will be fined £200 as an additional cleaning charge and/or loss of room income.

Times of Arrival and Departure

Check-in time is from 4pm – 9pm and departure time is 11am.

If your arrival is early in the day and you prefer immediate access to your room before 4pm, we recommend reserving for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the hotel. If you choose not to reserve, we will be glad to store your luggage.

Extensions will require a new reservation for the additional date(s), subject to availability and prevailing rates, and are subject to possible rate change

We love having pets at Weedingshall, and believe the area, with its great parks nearby, is a great place to bring them We respectfully however ask that you read the following guidelines to help us to look after other guests, and the lodges and areas outside so that we can continue to allow pets to be welcome here.
On the booking there is an additional £30 per night per pet added for the first pet, with an additional £10 per pet thereafter.

Where pets are allowed at the property the charge will be specified on the booking confirmation and you agree to the following:
a) Pets must not, at any time, be left alone at or in the property.
b) Only the number and type of pets agreed to on the booking confirmation will be allowed.
c) Pets must not under any circumstances be allowed on any soft furnishings or beds.
d) Pets must always have their own beds or equivalent to protect floor coverings.
e) Pets must not cause any annoyance in any way to occupants of adjoining properties or the public
f) You must never allow pets to defecate in areas where children may play. Failure to clean up after pets will be heavily surcharged
g) Pets must be house trained and not allowed to mess within the lodges.
h) Pet must always be kept on a lead when on the grounds, no exceptions.
i) Pets must be quiet so as not to disturb other guests.
j) Failure to comply with any of the above may result in you being asked to leave without a refund
k) Any damage occurred by pets will be charged for, including any cancelled stays of future guests due to the damage.

In the event your pet has been allowed on the soft furnishings and a trail of hair etc. has been left an additional charge of £50 will be deducted for a full clean and disinfection of the property.

If you or any member of the party has a pet allergy, we cannot guarantee that dogs, or other pets, have not stayed in your chosen property, even if the owner does not allow pets, nor can we accept any responsibility for any subsequent health reaction.

Weedingshall reserves the right to require you to leave if you are causing disturbance or annoyance to other guests or staff, or if you are otherwise behaving in an unacceptable manner.

All correspondence from and to guests via our website is recorded and available for reference at any time, thus avoiding confusion or issues which may arise regarding bookings and/or guests’ additional requirements.

You will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury that you may cause at Weedingshall and to our property. Weedingshall reserves the right to charge your debit or credit card (before or after your departure) for the full cost of repair or replacement of any damaged property. We will use reasonable endeavours to discuss and agree with you any appropriate charge before departure, but will proceed to charge your debit or credit card if this is not possible.

Weedingshall also reserves the right to charge your debit or credit card for any extras that remain unpaid at departure time. Please note Weedingshall does not accept any responsibility for guests’ cars or vehicles. Use of our car park is done so at the owner’s or responsible person’s risk.
