Weedingshall is on the outskirts of Falkirk, right in the heart of Central Scotland. Falkirk was recently voted the ‘Best Walking Neighbourhood’ in the UK, and on visiting Weedingshall you will see why. As well as being nestled in woodland, we are right beside the beautiful Gray Buchannan Park (an Outlander filming location!) and Polmont Burn. Indeed, for Outlander fans not only is one filming location literally on our doorstep, but eight other key filming locations are within just a few miles of Weedingshall (just ask us for a local trail!).

We are ideally located to visit Edinburgh, with a bus from the entrance to Weedingshall directly into the city or Edinburgh Zoo, or you’ll find it a short 20 – 25 minute trip in the car or train. In the city you can visit Edinburgh Castle, soak in the history in the Old Town, attend the Festivals or Military Tattoo, visit Holyrood Palace, enjoy a performance at one of the many theatres or one of the many galleries Edinburgh has to offer, but return to your relaxing base here at Weedingshall in the evening, avoiding the noise (and prices!) of the city.
